Historic gathering on January 30th, 2025, as the Eight Tribes of Southwest Oklahoma met to address federal program funding exemptions for Native Nations. The Apache Tribe, Caddo Nation, Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes, Comanche Nation, Delaware Nation, Fort Sill Apache, Kiowa Tribe, and Wichita and Affiliated Tribes came together for the first time in many years. In a powerful show of unity, all eight tribes drafted and signed a joint resolution. We stand united in working toward the wellbeing of all our people. Together we are stronger.
